There is an enthusiastic growing subculture of photographers that still photograph using film. We want you to
become part of the fun and develop the skills and attitude that make this style of photography such a blast.
Not only will you learn a lot - our intention is to photographically energize you. You’ll also get the opportunity
to try out an assortment of analog film cameras.

Workshop Agenda
The fun starts at Photographic Works on Saturday at 10 am. We’ll start out with an introduction to film photography,
film and processing combinations, and introduce different Lomography cameras. We will provide a variety of
cameras for you to try out during the photo shoot. If you have your very own Lomo-style camera please bring it
along. The rest of the day is for putting your new found knowledge to use. We will meet at the Tucson Swap Meet to
photograph the sites from the rebellious film photographer’s point of view. Your instructor JP Westenskow will be
there to both help and inspire you. At the end of the day you will turn in your film for processing.
Tuesday evening is all about discovering what you created on Saturday. We will have a friendly review of everyone’s
work followed by the creation of the Lomowall. The “wall” is a group effort where we create a collage that represents
everyone’s “Rebellious” experience. The Lomo wall will be displayed in ArtsEye gallery for the Curious Camera
event. Cool huh?
About JP Westenskow our “Rebellious” instructor
JP Westenskow is enamoured with photography using film, and every kind of Lomo camera out there. He has wona myriad of awards from the Lomo community including the Lubitel Lovers Grand Champion. He is an inspiring
teacher and has a vast knowledge of all that is this alternative style of photography.
